This is an excellent graph outlining the world record yields for wheat, barley, corn, soybeans, potatoes, sugar beets and the amount of yield loss that occurs from biotic and abiotic stresses. We're losing 70% of our yield to abiotic stress factors! Time to focus our attention on the farming systems that help reduce abiotic stress in plants.
